Senior Regulatory Compliance Consultant
About the role
Who are we?
Pideeco consists of a small but dedicated team of people with many years of experience in finance, regulatory, and compliance-related subjects and operational implementation. Pideeco's experts provide professional guidance, valuable business solutions, and strategies to lower the rising cost of financial regulatory compliance.
What is Compliance?
The identification of the risks that an organisation faces (identification), the design and implementation of controls to protect an organisation from risks (prevention), the monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of controls in an organisation's exposure to risks (monitoring and detection), the resolution of compliance hardships as they occur (resolution), and advising business on rules and controls (advisory) are the key functions of a Compliance Department in the context of financial services. The role of compliance profiles has changed drastically over the past decades requiring the continuous acquisition of new skills and knowledge in new technologies. Building e-solutions allows to keep track with the fast-changing regulatory requirements and to remain compliant. Manual processes and human errors are interfering with the development of state-of-the-art compliance departments. Through the use of technology and automatic processes, one avoids wasting human and material resources and enhancing work efficiency.
